For those seeking a fuller flavor experience, the Napolitana De Res, layered with ham, cheese, and a rich tomato sauce, is a must-try. While the sandwiches and empanadas are undeniably the stars of the show, don't overlook the side offerings. The Costilla de Puerco (pork ribs) and Carnitas (pork chunks) provide a hearty complement to your meal, while the seasoned fried potatoes are a crunchy delight that takes you straight to flavor town.

I've been coming here for years. It's a little greasy, so beware for those who are sensitive! I usually buy one of each empanada (cheese, chicken, and beef) along with a milanesa de res or cold cuts sandwich. Don't forget the drink!!

This place is a hidden gem. Great quick service. The sandwiches are on hit. Empanadas are delicious! All there food is great. Reasonable considering what other places offer. Not a bargain. But reasonable.

I typically go there for their cold cut sandwiches with jalapeño relish. It’s so good! During lunch hours it can be pretty busy. I recommend ordering over the phone to save time. This helps prevent the long wait times in line. The pick up area is on the left side of the counter by the fountain drinks. They also have a huge 3’x2’ or 6’x2’ party sandwich for your luncheon events.

Update 8/16/24: Local legend that will get my business regardless just for nostalgia sake. My reviews will go from 4 to 5 based on service or freshness as they tend to make their best selling sandwich (milanesa) in bulk. The trick is getting there early, before noon or ordering a sandwich that requires fresh made. I’ve tried a few, like napolitana, carnitas, lomo or rib eye but I still prefer the classic beef milanesa. This trip, it was good enough and so was the service. I did discover a few new favorites, like the chicken milanesa and cheese empanada! Chicken milanesa was fresh made and delicious, but was light on the meat to bread ratio. GF really liked the chicken option! Cheese empanada was another great discovery and GF favorite. Anyway, this place will always have a place in my heart and hope to make some new discoveries soon! Yum. A classic. Stopped by near closing time and the sandwich was nice a fresh! Loved every bite of my milanesa con jalapeño! Beef empanadas was a little off but tasty. Beef was a little “mushier” than I’m used too. Maybe a new grind. Anyway, will keep going back!

I have never got anything here that hasn't been good. Beef empanadas are relly good. Super hot becareful when you take your first bite. Lomo sandwich says its filiet mignon really good as well. If im going to bbq this us a great place to by your meat. Argentine sausages ate my favorite from here. Steaks are always good too.

They’re relatively fast for the amount of people in their lines, super efficient. The food is just really good, we tried two sandwiches and two empanadas. The bread was fresh, we’d come back just for the bread, but the meat was also so good. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Finally made the trip to this institution since having their house submarine since the 1980's. Fell in love with the ambience and the food filling and very tasty as always. Recommend this place for a good submarine in El Monte
